Chichester Local Plan 2045 - Notice of Scoping Consultation and draft Engagement Strategy

Chichester District Council is getting ready to prepare a new local plan. We would like your views on the issues a new local plan should cover, and on how you would like to be engaged in the plan making process. The plan will cover the parts of Chichester District outside of the South Downs National Park.

Where and when to view the consultation:

The Scoping Consultation and draft Engagement Strategy will be available for seven weeks from 7 August 2026 to 25 September 2026:
