Please see the below message, received from West Sussex Highways:

"Please be advised the B2141 Chilgrove Road has and remains closed due to flooding which has resulted in damage to the carriageway. We have and continue to undertake daily assessments of road, and we are currently waiting for water levels to subside so we can assess carriageway condition and evaluate options due to the extent and nature of the damage.

Please be assured we will formally reopen road as soon as it is safe to do so.

I would like to thank you for your patience you have shown to date and be assured we will endeavour to provide further updates as soon as there is any development."
